The Zeitwerk is a luxury watch by A. Lange & Söhne.
In the spring of 2009 A. Lange & Söhne presented this completely new development with the manual winding manufacture movement calibre L043.1. The watch has the unusual combination of a precisely jumping numerals indication of hour and minute and offers a new, yet very simple dial design, together with power reserve and small seconds, arranged in calm tetrachord and gives the watch a unique look.
The inventions which are united in the movement, were registered with several patents so for the new barrel construction and the mechanics of constant-force escapement.
There are three case variations in gold and one variant in platinum. The crown is placed on the top right.
In the spring of 2010 with the Zeitwerk "Luminous" a noctilucent variant with elegant design in gray and platinum case was presented.
In October 2022, a revised version appeared with the Zeitwerk (2022), with a power reserve doubled to 72 hours and other improvements.
