Rolex 3000
Overview
Cal. 3000 was a simple and robust time-only movement in the same family as Cal. 3035. It was a self-winding movement with bi-directional winding, 28,800 A/h, 27 jewels. Cal. 3000 was the last Rolex movement to use a flat hairspring rather than a Breguet overcoil but nevertheless achieved chronometer certification.
It as used in the Air King, Explorer I and Submariner Ref. 14060 without date.
