Calibre R150 is an automatic watch movement made by Ronda and introduced in 2016.
Ronda was best-known for quartz movements, but the decline of movements and ebauches from ETA in the 2010's led the company to introduce an all-new mechanical movement. Cal. R150 is designed as a drop-in replacement for ETA's mainstream three-handed 2824 movement, and as such includes the same dimensions and mounting points. Design of the R150 began in 2011 just as Comco announced that Swatch Group could decrease movement supplies. Cal. R150 will meet the requirements to be called Swiss Made even though some components are sourced from Ronda's existing factory in Thailand. The balance spring is supplied by Carl Haas of Switzerland.
Cal. R150 operates at 28,800 A/h like Cal. 2824. It measures 11.5 lignes (26 mm) and is 4.4 mm thick, 0.2 mm less than Cal. 2824. Power reserve is 40 hours.
