Erhard Junghans (1823-1870)
Erhard Junghans was born on January 1, 1823 in Zell am Harmersbach. Together with his brother Jakob Zeller-Tobler he founded on April 15, 1861 in Schramberg the company “Junghans and Tobler”, which later became the most famous German watch manufacturer Junghans.
On September 9, 1870 Erhard Junghans died in Schramberg.
