+**Timor** is a British watch brand.
 +
+It was founded in [[1923]] by Mr Bernheim and Mr Luthy in [[La Chaux-de-Fonds]].
+During World War II, Timor was among the legendary "Dirty Dozen" watchmakers that produced timepieces for the British Military.
+During the [[Quartz crisis]] the company went dormant. In the early 2000s Timor produced pocket watches.
+In [[2015]] the design was refocused to the former wrist watch lines W.W.W and A.T.P, that had been issued to British troops in World War 2. In  [[2018]] the headquarters was relocated to Newcastle upon Tyne in the North of England.
 +
+The new models Heritage Field W.W.W, Heritage Field A.T.P. and Modern Field 100M are equipped with [[hand-wound]] or [[automatic]] [[Sellita]] movements.
