A regulator watch (or sometimes in short regulator) is a watch with a special kind of dial or hands arrangement.

Previously, these watches were special grandfather clocks which were used for precision adjustment of the rate by regulators working at watch workshops. These watches had a dominating large, central main pointer of the minutes hand, while the remaining hands were made smaller and located in decentralized areas of the dial.

In the model Régulateur of the company Chronoswiss from 1987 this display principle was first transferred to the wristwatch; since then there is a variety of vendors which present models of this watch type.
