====== Watch restauration ======
A **watch restoration** generally goes well beyond the usual [[revision]]. Here a wide field of possibilities opens up to bring back older or damaged watches to a fresh condition again, especially when it comes to valuable collectibles.

So there are for example 

  * Overhaul including new production of [[movement]] parts
  * Dial restoration
  * Hand restoration incl. covering with new [[luminous coating]]

Many famous watchmakers or founders of watch manufacturers have first made a name for themselves as highly talented restorers, especially of highly complicated watches, for example [[Franck Muller]], [[Parmigiani, Michel|Michel Parmigiani]] or [[Journe, Francois-Paul|Francois-Paul Journe]].
