====== Vulcain 406 ======
Calibre **406** is an [[alarm movement]] from [[Vulcain]] introduced in [[1958]].

Already famous for their [[Vulcain Cricket|Cricket]] alarm watch, Vulcain introduced the first small "ladies" alarm watch in [[1958]]. Like the [[Vulcain 120|Cal. 120/401/402]] found in the larger Cricket, Cal. 406 was a [[double barrel]] movement with one devoted to timekeeping and the other for the alarm.

Cal. 406 was advertised as "Golden Voice" thanks to a gold alarm membrane.
