====== Valanvron VAL-92 ======
The **valanvron VAL-92** is an [[ETA 2892]]-compatible [[automatic]] movement from [[Valanvron]].

Although it appears to be based on a Chinese-made [[Sea-Gull ST1812]] [[ebauche]], Valanvron remanufactures and modifies it [[Swiss|in accordance to Swiss law]] to qualify the movement as "Swiss". This likely means that the ebauches are reassembled in Switzerland with at least 50% Swiss parts (by value) replaced or added, and the movement is inspected in Switzerland. Like the 2892, the VAL-92 is 25.60 mm in diameter and 3.6 mm high. It includes hours, minutes, and sweep second and is [[self-winding]] with ball bearings. It includes a [[quickset]] date, [[hacking]] second hand, and [[INCABLOC]] shock absorption. Also like the 2892, the VAL-92 uses 28,800 vibrations per hour and has 21 jewels.
