  *  The sons of [[Edouard Heuer]], Charles-Auguste and Jules-Edouard Heuer, take over the management of the company [[Heuer]]. 
  *  In January 1891, three years before his death, [[Jean-Adrien Philippe]] hands the management of [[Patek Philippe]] over to his son Joseph-Emile.
